Message I thought it was really glued on there it would not budge.

I used a bunch of piece of wood wedges to stick in the space between the hatch and body of the car and actually unbolted the hatch from the hinge and successfully removed it like that.

Next i bolted on the other hatch man it was hard lining it up...

I got it though bolted hatch back on the hinge and the hinge was still stuck on there with sealant (nuts gone underneath the headliner)

but when i put the strut back on the one side the hinge sealent popped right off LOL... damn it.

So my own words of wisdom for someone doing it next time is this: once you get the nuts off the studs underneath the headliner prop the hood back up and then pop a strut in that will pivot the hatch off the sealant thats gluing the hinge to the body.
